With his first 12“ single release taken from the anticipated album “The Life and Death of Jimmy Pheres and his Rise from the Underworld”, Steve Morell offers the listener a perfect and diverse introduction into his dark, delicate, even philosophical musical world.
“Loneliness”, the original version is a beautiful but unusual ballad. The listener is warped into Morell 's world, enchanted and haunted at once. Produced by Ragnar and Morell himself. The Solitary Doom Re-Mix by 'Alexander Hacke ' (Einstürzende Neubauten) takes the haunted song to another level. “ Hacke” created the perfect background for any horror movie! UK's award winning electro producers 'Punx Soundcheck ' turn the track upside down without loosing its essence, garnished with the finest of electro tunes that, paired with Johanna Sadonis' voice make up a sung dialogue that will make you dance with pleasure! Luis Miguilez (Glamour To Kill ) added his talent on the electronic version, whilst upcoming photographer Violeta Leiva Martinez did the artwork for the cover. A beautiful art video is expected to come out soon by James Slater (Kaiser Chiefs, Norah Jones. Ladytron)
