The Zero Hour #7 - Hosted by Steve Morell Guest: Warren Suicide & T.Raumschmiere - Radio Show on Reboot.Fm Berlin - Podcast and Free Download

Warren Suicide, T.Raumschmiere at Reboot.Fm Studio Berlin

Straight before their show 25.11 Berlin - Maria - Reboot.Fm got Warren Suicide and T.Raumschmiere into the late night “The Zero Hour” Show which is hosted by Steve Morell. The guest are going to present their new single and as well looking back into the history of both acts ..

Warren Suicide, T.Raumschmiere, Steve Morell at Reboot.Fm Studio Berlin

„Hollywood Yourself“, the new single by Berlin music/art duo Nackt and Cherie aka WARREN SUICIDE, is a colourful demonstration of the potential in past, present and future. At the same time, the two songs are a promising representation of their third studio album “World Warren III”, coming out in spring 2011. Assuming from the very straight “Hollywood Yourself” and the galactiv “Moving Close”, we have a lot to expect! Both tracks feature Shitkatapult founder and rock-techno energy master Marco Haas aka T.Raumschmiere on vocals and were recorded live at the Warren Studio “Chez Cherie”. Moses Schneider, well-known for his productions for Tocotronic, Kreator and the Beatsteaks, took care of both songs. Is it the single for the tour or are they touring for the single? Either way, T.Raumschmiere and band are going on tour with Warren Suicide. The whole “Band vs. Electronic, Band vs. Party” idea in general is a concept which all of the mentioned artists work on. But they’re not interested in the boring old-fashioned electro-punk “here we go!”, instead they search for the ultimate level of lust and possibilities. So even before „World Warren III“ is released, we dare say it represents turning away from the duality of techno and rock, towards a third option: it’s different, it’s better, and most of all – it’s neither nor.

Warren Suicide, T.Raumschmiere, Steve Morell at "The Zero Hour"

The.Girl und andere.

Here he is going to present, introduce and point out to the listeners new music. Music which is new on the spot, which he got sent, which he is playing in his sets or just which is it worth to be listened to and which he don´t want to withhold to his listeners. Music from his own label (Pale Music Int.) or music from other friends labels or Artists he got sent. Its a not regular format as the normal “Zero Hour” program has to happen as well. But tonight he has to do already the second episode because there is coming so much good music out in the moment that he really have to present it.

Steve Morell - Loneliness 12" Single - OUT NOW Get Free MP3 here

Cover Photo & Artwork © By Violeta Leiva Martinez

Catalogue No.: PALE031
Release Date: 2010/01

Track list
A1 Loneliness (Alexander Hacke RMX)
A2 Loneliness (Original Version)
B1 Loneliness (Punx Soundcheck RMX)
B3 Loneliness (Electronic Mix)

With his first 12“ single release taken from the anticipated album “The Life and Death of Jimmy Pheres and his Rise from the Underworld”, Steve Morell offers the listener a perfect and diverse introduction into his dark, delicate, even philosophical musical world.

“Loneliness”, the original version is a beautiful but unusual ballad. The listener is warped into Morell 's world, enchanted and haunted at once. Produced by Ragnar and Morell himself. The Solitary Doom Re-Mix by 'Alexander Hacke ' (Einstürzende Neubauten) takes the haunted song to another level. “ Hacke” created the perfect background for any horror movie! UK's award winning electro producers 'Punx Soundcheck ' turn the track upside down without loosing its essence, garnished with the finest of electro tunes that, paired with Johanna Sadonis' voice make up a sung dialogue that will make you dance with pleasure! Luis Miguilez (Glamour To Kill ) added his talent on the electronic version, whilst upcoming photographer Violeta Leiva Martinez did the artwork for the cover. A beautiful art video is expected to come out soon by James Slater (Kaiser Chiefs, Norah Jones. Ladytron)

Quotes:

(...) Amazing work, 4 different view of loneliness, gloomy and dark atmosphere with your voice, are awesome. Original and Alexander Hacke remix are my favorite, never stop to listen it. I can't wait to listen whole album!
Tying Tiffany/ Artist (IT)

(...) The perfect blend between typical cold-wave bass, "magic" mesmerizing piano & Dark-apocalyptic folk. Flavour subtle of the lyrics and sound decorum haunted which will make you happy: This is the taste of "Loneliness" by Steve Morell: just Great.
Jim No1r/ DJ / Writer / Journalist (FR)

(...) I always play the "original" version. It's great as a night's opener or to end all parties.
Ragnar/ Producer / DJ (DE)

(...) I absolutely love the original mix! It is amazing!
The Model / Producer / DJ (RO)

(...) I' ve just put "Loneliness" in a rotation on our Radio, I also love Hacke's Re-mix .. Sounds great!
Tomas Turek (Radio Wave) (CZ)
